Two NOEA Awards for Prima Direct!

Two of the UK’s easiest, effective, economical and most ecological portable roadway and access systems have been recognised for their environmental qualities and disabled access at the prestigious National Outdoor Events Association (NOEA) Awards. 

PRIMA Direct (International) Ltd, the leading manufacturer and supplier of flooring solutions for the events industry, has been awarded the ‘Green Tribute’ and the ‘Accessibility Tribute’ for the company’s flagship products – PRIMA Gridmat and PRIMA Terra-Tech.

These portable access systems were recognised for their environmentally friendly properties – both systems are manufactured in recycled polypropylene – as well as their overall contribution towards the company’s ongoing CSR strategy. PRIMA Gridmat has been used at several high profile charity events including a one-off revival of the TV programme Challenge Anneka and a cricket match to support former Leicester Tigers and England U21 star, Matt Hampson. In addition, PRIMA Terra-Tech saved many outdoor events during last summer’s torrential downpours including the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, the British Motorcycle Grand Prix at Donington Park and music festivals at Reading and Leeds.

As part of the company’s CSR policy, where either of the systems is hired, PRIMA will donate an area of PRIMA Gridmat free of charge in order to facilitate disabled access.
