PrimaDirect wins ‘Best Stand’ Award

Flooring and access solution manufacturer and supplier to the events industry PRIMA Direct has won the ‘Best Stand’ award at this year’s Performance Textiles Exhibition.

The 2007 Performance Textiles Show is an annual event which takes place at the Telford International Centre in Shropshire.  It is the only UK exhibition that caters specifically for those involved in the processing of industrial fabrics, utilised in everything from healthcare products through to the manufacture of marquees and temporary structures. 

The judging panel was headed up by Performance Textiles Association President Dave Ramus, who presented PRIMA Direct with the award.  He said, “The PRIMA Direct team has really gone to town, their stand is definitely eye-catching and deserves to win this award.”

PRIMA Direct’s award-winning stand featured the brand new PRIMA Light Fantastic Dancefloor, a portable lightweight dancefloor designed with inherent flashing coloured lights that flicker in time with the music - a real innovation which has been created by PRIMA Direct’s MD, Jonathan Vaughan.  It utilises advanced avionics technology developed for navigation lights used in a portable, rapid deployment helicopter landing zone system which has been patented by one of PRIMA’s sister companies.

Further awards took place at the show’s Gala Dinner to honour the cream of the industry and included categories such as the Innovation Award, which is also sponsored by PRIMA Direct, a previous winner.
