PRIMA launches Financial Services Division to help customers purchase Portable Access System in installments

PRIMA – the Leicestershire-based, award-winning manufacturer and supplier of floorcoverings, flooring and instant roadway systems for the event industry, has just launched a brand new service designed to provide financial help for their customers in these straightened times.

PRIMA Gridmat is the unique portable flooring and access system developed and manufactured by the company and demand for the system has more than doubled every year since it was launched in 2002. Every season an increasing number of PRIMA’s clients look to improve facilities at special events by purchasing the system, which last year achieved two NOEA (National Outdoor Event Association) awards, for sustainability and disabled access. Now customers can purchase new or nearly new PRIMA Gridmat via PRIMA Capital - Innovative Finance Solutions, an in-house financial service that will help customers spread the cost.

PRIMA Capital is being launched at one of the event industry’s biggest trade affairs, The Event Show to be held at Olympia this week (21st-22nd January).

“Despite the economic downturn, most major events will be going ahead this year, and the industry is predicting a successful season, with UK residents spending their leisure budgets in the UK and foreign visitors making the most of the weak pound,” said Mr Vaughan. “We are a service-orientated business, so providing a financial service for our customers seemed the next logical step – especially in the current economic climate. 2008 was a big year for the 30 year old business, the group relocated to a new purpose-built five acre site in the heart of the Leicestershire countryside in the area known as ‘the golden triangle’ for distribution, only ten minutes from Junction 20 of the M1. Last season was also significant in that PRIMA Hire – launched only a year ago – supplied heavy duty instant roadway PRIMA Terra-Tech and PRIMA Gridmat, the instant, portable flooring and access system to most of the major national and international events during the UK season, as well as some major events overseas.
