New HQ for PrimaDirect (International) Ltd

PRIMA Direct (Int’l) Ltd has been handed the keys to its long awaited state of the art £2.5m HQ in Walton, Leicestershire. The scheme was developed by Jonathan Vaughan (Holdings) Ltd, with architect Kent Porter Warren (KPW) and contractor JH Hallam (Contracts) Ltd.

Bridgemere Mill, based in rural Walton, near Lutterworth, was formerly the location of the flooring manufacturer and supplier’s distribution centre and, following a major redevelopment of existing buildings as well as new build, is now home to centralised offices, the distribution depot and additional services.

Demolition work on the 8000m² site began in April 2007, and Bridgemere Mill, located in the heart of a working farm, now provides a two storey state of the art office including:

• Studio space
• Meeting and conference room facilities
• Showrooms

In addition to 25000 sq ft of warehousing, other amenities include:

• Production research and development
• Dedicated car parking
• Outdoor cleaning area for the expanding hire division of portable access, roadway and flooring systems
• Storage, automated systems handling and washing facility

Designed by Leicester-based architect KPW and built by JH Hallam (Contracts) Ltd, the bespoke office building comprises floor to ceiling windows and outdoor terrace overlooking stunning views of rolling farmland.

The new head office represents a significant investment for the company and by housing all divisions under one roof, we will be able us to add value to our already excellent customer service and sustain our expansion programme going forward.”

The move to the new HQ will accommodate over 20 staff, and will be home to PRIMA Direct (International) Ltd, manufacturers and suppliers of flooring for the special events industry, PRIMA Hire, suppliers of portable roadway and instant flooring, Vaughan Farms Ltd, and AVA, an East Midlands PR and marketing consultancy.
