PrimaDirect helps ensure safety at Nottingham’s
first outdoor Ice Rink

PRIMA Direct (International) Ltd, one of the UK's leading manufacturers and suppliers of flooring solutions for the events industry, has helped make the E.ON Ice Rink in Nottingham’s Old Market Square safe for the holiday season.

Nottingham-based event production company, OneBigStar, which worked closely with the National Ice Centre in the city to supply light, power and fixtures, commissioned PRIMA Direct (Int’l) Ltd to find a health and safety flooring solution for the E.ON sponsors’ lounge for spectators.

The E.ON Ice Rink, which measures 40 metres by 19 metres, is open from November 21st to January 13th 2008, and was formally opened by one of Nottingham’s most famous skaters, Jane Torvill, with Trent FM and a live link to Central News East.

Simon Taylor, OneBigStar, said, “We contacted PRIMA Direct quite late on in the E.ON project and they quickly produced the goods we required. Service
